Hair curling-2 questions?

should i use a barrel to get small tight curls-kinds like corkscrew curls except a little looser.


if so..


what size barrel should i use


and...


how do u curl ur hair using a barrel without damaging ur hair or burning ur scalp. (i%26#039;ve never curled my hair before)

i prefer hot curlers.





The curls look more natural and hold WAY better.





i have conair ion something.





the large/jumbo kind.





and just dont put them toooo close to your scalp.


then it wont burn :)

by barrel do you mean curling iron ?





To get those loose curls ~ you use a medium rod and you pull it through your hair ~ you dont%26#039; hold it curling





you won%26#039;t damage your hair ~ think 5 seconds while you pull the rod thorugh your chunks of hair to create the loose waves
Reply:Try using a 1 inch curling iron for small tight curls.





Put hair serum on to keep from damaging your hair.





Remember to use hair spray.





And you might want to put some mousse in after you dry your hair and before you curl it.





If you%26#039;re scared you%26#039;ll crimp the part that goes inside the iron, then just twirl your hair around the outside of the barrel with your fingers.
