Is dying the hair once a month really bad?
My roots are about an inch out already but its been two months only...

You should dye your hair only about every six weeks. Also, if it%26#039;s just your roots, you can do a touch up with the same color as your ends.
Make sure you use a deep conditioner. I%26#039;ve perma-fried my hair many a time when I left it in too long and then didn%26#039;t deep condition afterward.
